So I recently finished reading the Bourne Ultimatum, the third book in the Bourne series by Robert Ludlum. I’ve really enjoyed the previous two (Identity, Supremacy), and Ultimatum didn’t dissapoint. I felt that it was the most human of the three, with an aging Jason Bourne forced into a final standoff with his foe from the first book.

We planned to watch the Bourne films after I finished the last book, and we recently watched Identity. While I really enjoy the Bourne films, they are simply too different from the books to be as memorable. I suppose I need to take them as they are, but it’s too bad they weren’t made closer in line with the books; I think they could have been much better. I’ll have to watch Supremacy and Ultimatum soon, as I don’t remember the former at all, and I’ve only seen the latter once, in the theaters last year.
